Vacancy for: Faculty of Design

Qualifications:

The candidate is expected to:

• University degree (MA) or higher and extensive professional experience
in a related discipline of innovative fashion design or in a conceptual (conceptual) design team
(at least 3 years).
• Have extensive knowledge of fashion, digitalization, innovation, new technologies and
communication.

Requirements:

• Experience and network to the competition of providers for conceptual design.
• References and documentation of own projects and achievements.
• Knowledge of social and cultural changes in the fields of design, consumption, sustainability,
fashion and media.
• Demonstration of an own and known position on the issue of cultural appropriation.
• The ability to critically engage with cultural differences and cultural specificities of the context of
the institution as well as to fit into the local industry is valued, encouraged and required.
• Extensive technical knowledge in the use of relevant software and innovative processing
techniques.
• Experience in a similar teaching role is desirable
• Strong ability to develop pedagogical innovations and lead study programmes.
• Excellent communication skills (oral, written, presentation).
• Very good knowledge of English (oral and written) as it is the official language of instruction.
