Qualifications:

The candidate is expected to:

• University degree (MA) or higher and extensive professional experience in a related
Fashion design discipline / apparel business (minimum 3 years).
• Extensive knowledge of design methodology and processes.
• Mastery of comprehensive creative methods and knowledge, qualification and practical work
experience in the field of conceptual (conceptual) fashion design and the development of
market-driven of collections.
• Have practical experience on all steps of conception, design, sourcing, resources and typical
events and trade show appearances.

Requirements:

• A craft background and the ability to technically implement designs, materials, silhouettes is
desirable.
• Experience and awareness of sustainability and all aspects of the supply chain are desirable, as is
a strong position on the issue of cultural appropriation.
• The ability to think critically about cultural differences and cultural specificities of the institution's
environment and to fit into the local industry is valued, encouraged and required.
• Knowledge of entrepreneurship and international work experience is desirable.
• Experience in a similar teaching role is desirable.
• Strong ability to develop pedagogical innovations and lead a programme of study.
• Excellent communication skills (oral, written, presentation).
• High command of English (oral and written) as it is the official language of instruction.
• High willingness to engage in academic self-administration and take on leadership roles.
