GIU held its 1^st Engineering Poster Day on June 20^th, 2022 for its sixth semester Engineering students. During this event, the students showcased their prototypes and posters to present their accomplishments and to demonstrate their results and findings. The team-based projects provide opportunities for the students to gain experience by applying their knowledge, demonstrating their skills, and paving their career paths. In addition, they inspire other junior students with ideas that they can adopt to decide on their own Bachelor theses and internships. Thirty teams participated in the event, each individually addressing a particular area of technical interest, under the supervision of the Engineering Faculty members and some delegates from the industry.

Project-based learning and industry-driven practices are fundamental to the German Education, and are major requirements for ACQUIN accreditation, as they testify for the quality of the Engineering programs, offered at GIU, and echoes the success of its students. After a private assessment session, the event was open to GIU community and to the public, from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 pm, where many students, faculty members, staff, families, friends, and loved ones of the participating students were invited to share their pride and joy.
