GIU in the New Administrative Capital Celebrates its First Graduation

On 13th of July 2023, the German International University-GIU in the New Administrative Capital proudly celebrated its first graduation- class of 2023. In the presence of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Mohamed Maait, Minister of Finance and Mr. Frank Hertmann, the German Ambassador to Egypt, Amb. Yasser Hashem, Deputy Assistant for European Affairs - Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Yasser Higazy, President of the German University in Cairo along with founding German Universities’ Presidents, DAAD Representatives and German guests Mr. Julius Georg Luy, Chairman of GIU Board of trustees, Prof Dr. Ashraf Mansour, co-chairman of Board of trustees along with Prof. Dr. Slim Abdennadher, President of the German International University welcomed their German & Egyptian partners of success, parents and graduating students.

 

Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, expressed his gratitude and also mentioned that he is extremely proud to witness the celebration of the first graduation ceremony of the German International University in the New Administrative Capital.

Prof. Ashour praised the excellent quality of the academic programs presented by the GIU and stated that the qualified graduates will meet the current and future needs of the various labor markets in the local, regional, and global arenas.

Minister Ashour also praised the first GIU graduating class, as they have practical hands on experience due to their exposure to numerous fields of academic programs and projects that will help them contribute to the achievement of various Egyptian development goals.
