The German International University- GIU in the New Administrative Capital gives its students several opportunities for studying and traveling abroad, by offering them different programs with many GIU partner universities. One of the offered programs is GIU- Goes Berlin. As part of students’ journey at the GIU, students from the second until the senior year are offered the opportunity to spend a semester or a full academic year in Berlin. This program enabled 120 GIU students to travel and to have their regular semesters’ set of courses offered in Berlin with the same German flare and quality. To enrich their experience and further broaden their horizons. Furthermore, this program gives GIU students several opportunities: Encounter an innovative science and technology environment Potential long-term relations with German Professors / Research Institutes and Postgraduate study opportunities Exposure to the industry through field visits to German internationally renowned corporations Visiting international specialized fairs and technical exhibitions in Berlin as well as throughout Germany and Europe held all year round Curricula taught in English, identical to the curricula at GIU – maintaining related study rules & regulations Improve German language and intercultural communication skills Exposure to internship opportunities in Germany and Europe Added value to your CV through international exposure Rich cultural program with a variety of sightseeing activities Easy and affordable access to all nearby European cities The GIU has also collaborated with the partner university HTW in Berlin (Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft: https://www.htw- berlin.de/) so that students get the chance to study one or two of their assigned courses at the HTW and the rest will be taken at the GIU Berlin campus. Courses offered at HTW will be taught in English and will not be offered at GIU Berlin campus.
