In this course, participants will learn the foundational principles of nutritional sciences and their impact on human health. The course will cover the basics of the relationship between nutrition and anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry, and how this knowledge can be applied in public health. Participants will also cover the basics of pharmacokinetics and food drug interactions. Participants will be introduced to nutrition care process and the exchange list usage. By the end of this course, participants will have a better understanding of the role of different nutrients in maintaining optimal health and preventing diseases

In this course, participants will explore in-depth and will have hands on the various aspects of the nutrition care process. This course will also provide a comprehensive overview of nutritional needs and guidelines for individuals at various stages of life, beginning with pregnancy and infancy, moving through adolescence and adulthood, and concluding with the geriatric stages. By the end of the course, participants will have a comprehensive understanding of how to approach nutrition care and assessment in different settings. They will also learn and know how to manage the unique nutritional requirements and challenges faced by individuals at each stage.
