ABOUT THE PROGRAM
To be considered for admission to the Master of Science programs with a specialty or subspecialty, you need to meet the following requirements:
  1. Completion of a relevant undergraduate program or closely related fields from a nationally or internationally accredited university with a grade point average(GPA) of at least 3 in the German system.This corresponds to having accumulated 180 to 240 ECTS points.These points are equivalent to 108 to 144 Credit Hours in other academic systems.
  2. Successful completion of the GIU admission tests.However, if you are a graduate of GIU, you are exempted from taking these tests.
  3. You must either hold Egyptian nationality or have a valid residency in Egypt.
These requirements are important for ensuring that applicants have the necessary academic background and qualifications to pursue the Master of Science programs.
The Master Program with the focus on IT security is designed to prepare students for challenging roles in both the public and private sectors. The curriculum covers a wide range of topics, including social engineering techniques, network defenses, malware methods, fraud, theft, digital forensics, and threat detection.
