GIU aims at attracting a selection of academically outstanding, dynamic and creative high school graduates. Accordingly, and based on the GIU admission evaluation process, students will be ranked and classified according to the following categories, each of which will have a specific deduction in the tuition as described in the scholarship section.

The following table describes the tuition fees to be paid in Egyptian pounds (or Euros for non-Egyptians)

Tuition and fees will be paid in equivalent amount in Euro as follows:

*Tuition and fees are announced and are subject to change at the beginning of each academic year.
Other Fees
  • A non-refundable GIU admission tests fees of 1200 EGP is to be paid at the time of submitting applications.
  • A deposit of 420 Euro or 10000 EGP as insurance for use of labs (refundable at the end of academic studies after deduction of damages).


PAYMENT PROCEDURES:
For Egyptian Students:
  • Cash payment can be made through E-Finance Payment by providing the concerned bank teller your GIU ID to record your deposit
  • Only certified checks or bank drafts are accepted as check payments
  • Credit / debit cards payment can be made through the GIU Students’ Financial Affairs office.
For Non Egyptian Students:
  • The Payment Order should be picked up in EUR from the students’ Financial Affairs office before the deadline
Proceed to the concerned bank for payment.
  • Credit / debit cards payment can be made on Euro Bank Account through the GIU Students’ Financial Affairs office.
  • Credit / debit cards payment can be made through the GIU Students’ Financial Affairs office.
  • The Payment Order should be picked up from the students’ Financial Affairs office before the deadline Proceed to the concerned bank for payment.
  • Paying with expired payment order or after the announced deadlines will not be considered
  • Any payment at the bank without GIU payment order is invalid.
  • Only certified checks or bank drafts are accepted as check payments.
REMARKS
  • Students will maintain their category of Tuition and Fees so long as their overall GPA is better than 3.5 (German Grading System).
  • Tuition and fees are announced and are subject to change at the beginning of each academic year.
