In a groundbreaking collaboration between the German International University New Administrative Capital (GIU) and the fashion house of Dior, GIU students have unveiled a stunning homage to the late inspirational icon Dorriya Shafik.

In a collaboration between the German International University (GIU) and Dior, led by creative director Kegham Djeghalian and a team of academics, GIU students reimagined the iconic Lady Dior bag in a project, known as 'Dior Lady Art'.

On 27th of May, 2023 the German International University in the New Administrative Capital started its celebrations of the first batch of its graduates in 2023, by a photoshoot for all the graduating faculties Engineering, Business Administration, Design, Computer Science

The German International University hosted its first Career Fair organized by the GIU Career Center. The fair took place on Thursday December 8th 2022 at the university’s campus in the New Administrative Capital.

The “KNOW - GIU Orientation Program” took place for the first time on Tuesday and Wednesday 4th and 5th of October at the GIU. The orientation days targeted the GIU newcomers of all majors. The event aimed to complement the regular newcomers’ orientations with two-days orientation- phase the following week. The idea was to get the newcomers started in a series of light activities and events to break the ice before the official semester start. The orientation consisted of informative sessions introducing the students to the university regulations and providing them with useful tips to help them excel at their studies.

From 29.08.2022 to 05.09.2022, the Faculty of Informatics and Computer Science at the GIU hosted a summer school jointly with HTW Berlin - University of Applied Sciences in New Administrative Capital Campus.

Students from the Faculty of Biotechnology and Faculty of Pharmaceutical Engineering participated in the Berlin summer workshop ‘Pharma Industry Goes Green’ in the duration from July 23rd, 2022 to August 6th, 2022. Twenty-Three students attended the workshop organized and supervised by Dr. Marwa Hany, Pharmaceutical Chemistry Lecturer- GIU.

The Architecture Engineering Program Exhibition showcases the outstanding achievements, talent and work undertaken by our students over the academic year 2021/2022. During the making process, students explored different ways to transform abstract notions and ideas into tangible architectural forms. This was done through a set of courses that they went through, that enabled them to have this impressive output.
